"I don't know where I am going but I know exactly how to get there"
A quick update from Helena - February 2025

HELENA UPDATE
Hi everyone!
Hope you are having an amazing week!
Some of my posts are going to be like this- writing directly to you with some updates from my life, my week, and then some insights as well (they might also be videos or voice recordings).
Haven’t written for just a few days due to a busier week but picking up the rhythm again. I like to write on here about 2-3X per week (mostly 2X with guest posts once in a while). This gives me plenty of room for everything I have to say to you and want to say to you haha!
I am being mindful of making every post as useful as I possibly can.
I do not take for granted this precious space you have opened up in your email inbox for me. As I can imagine, you probably get an avalanche of newsletters and other correspondence everyday.
I am thankful that nearly 80% of you actually open my emails (this is 4X the industry average! whoa!), reads them or watches the videos and comments! That’s ROCKSTAR. This helps my engagement ratings here on Substack quite a bit and really helps to get my writing out there.
SO…
THANK YOU!
Health Minis Subscribers
Our subscriber group here on Health Minis is TOP NOTCH! I am so proud of it.
We have such amazing and talented people including some special clients I have worked with very closely in the past and who are very special to me. YEAH!
We have a few new free and paid subscribers in the last two weeks, including two new founding members and some of these human beings I know very well - the fact that they chose to subscribe means the world to me.
I want to give a special mention to those of you who take the time to comment on my posts (Flavio and Kevin!) and a double special mention to those who comment and create great discussions along the way:
-
Comment/question in “How I simplify recovery: a framework for health that works” was so insightful and made me have to grab a diverse range of adjacent possible health pieces to answer and connect some dots I had never before. Enlightening, to say the least!
Also loved your comment on “Why most people fail at recovery (&31 ways to do it right)” with the addition of the PEMF mat for grounding! Hell yeah! right on!
Dr. Karen Shue writes about the brain here on Substack “The Way of the Brain.” She is a brain scientist who has spent 35+ years challenging the “fix it” mindset - she sees your brain like a wise GPS — it’s wired to adapt, self-heal, and guide you (no anatomy charts required!) I LOVE the way she relates to the brain! REFRESHING, to say the least.
-
LOVE your comment on “But did you really read that non-fiction book? What secrets did you miss?” Implementation of ‘book insights’ is the stuff of which life amazingness is made!! haha! Can’t wait for our Mastermind meeting soon!
Georgee’s last post is awesome: “Making decisions that feel right (Instead of just looking good on paper)
Georgee helps solo entrepreneurs ditch rulebooks and build lives that actually fit them—think "choose-your-own-adventure" for grown-ups, blending mountain treks (she’s obsessed with Everest) and boardroom-tested wisdom. Her Substack Decide Your Life swaps generic advice for tools to make decisions using your purpose, quirks, and secret potato-chip addictions (she’s relatable like that). Want to stop “adulting” and start living? Her Decide Your Life is the compass.

I LOVE your comment on one of my first posts here on how listening to my body saved my life! And thank you for being there, always.
Mihaela wrote a beautiful guest post here on Health Minis: “Finding healing in nature’s mirror: a life-changing book review” — “I believe that a great book doesn’t teach you—it awakens something already within you. It doesn’t impose new ideas—it helps you remember.”
Mihaela also started her own Substack called The Radiant Path and anything she writes is beautiful and cuts through the mask right to what truly matters. Mihaela was my client for years and she is amazing! Never have I left a coaching session with her without tremendous inspiration, appreciation, and something new learned to take with me for expanding into my own health world.
The Vitality Accelerator
This has been a wonderful week, I was taking care of some new shiny clients and polishing up something really special: The Vitality Accelerator - my exclusive health optimization program for executives, high performers, and leaders who want to thrive.
Only accepting 6 clients for this specific program as it is high touch and high ROI - we are going to be geeking out on some of THE coolest health domino dot connections and aim for crazy-good results - we’re talking exceptional levels of energy, focus, exuding vitality not just surviving!
I am so proud of it because it is a culmination of every second of my experience over the last 25+ years including major health dot connection insights! I will talk more about it here in detail soon!
EPILOGUE
Hope you guys enjoyed this quick update!
Lots more simplifying health, amplifying life posts coming!
Please let me know if there is anything specific you would like me to write about!
To end this conversation, I will leave you with my favourite thing I read this week - a quote from a book I am completely in love with and one of the MOST insightful books I have ever read in my life.
This was recommended by
, and what a recommendation!“The Lion Tracker’s Guide to Life” by Boyd Varty:
"Track. Track. Track,” Ren has said to me at other times. I understood him to mean find the first track, then the one after that.
He does not set out into the unlikely chance of finding a lion in the future. He works with what he has now, in the moment. Joseph Campbell said, “If you can see your whole life’s path laid out then it’s not your life’s path.”
In the bush and in life, we don’t get trails fully laid out. We get tremendous unknowns and, if we are lucky, first tracks. Then next first tracks.
The journey to transformation is a series of first tracks. I don’t know where I’m going but I know exactly how to get there.”
AND…what is your ‘FIRST TRACK’ this week? Hit comment below! I’d love to hear!

I love this update! My heart is full of gratitude for your kind words. I'm so happy you love the book, it's no wonder Tim Ferris reads it once a year. Such a good reminder to cut the noise and listen to ourselves. One of my favorite things about working with you is your ability and patience to keep me on track to listen to what my body is saying when it comes to health and vitality. You are a Rockstar!
Thank you Helene for your kind mention! And to both you and Georgee for the book recommendation - this sounds like a must read and is going on my short list!
And just a wee edit, if I may -- maybe rather than the machine-metaphor of a GPS, we could shift that to an inner navigator or -- even better -- your own inner Tracker (!) that lets you know what to approach and what to avoid.
Off to the library now.... 🤓
